Product Details

One of Hawkins' most popular pressure cooker ranges, the Hawkins Classic Pressure Cooker offers Hawkins' strength, simplicity and reliability in cooking. It is designed for everyday use around the home and allows food to cook quicker and with a reduced fuel consumption.

Its enhanced pressure regulating system regulates the pressure efficiently and keeps the cooking food like dal from frothing. The safety valve is positioned underneath the lid handle bar and it opens when necessary to safely direct the steam downward. The gasket has a longer life due to it being exposed to steam less and not rubbing on opening and closing of cooker. Hawkins also specifies that the Classic range can be used on gas, electric, ceramic and halogen cooktops and recommends it particularly for gas cooktops. ([Hawkins Cookers][1])
